These support groups are intended for those coping with Anxiety and Depression to understand the signs and symptoms, develop self-care and establish healthy boundaries. Participants can start utilizing these coping strategies to make positive changes in their lives.

  • October 27 Introduction: Psychology of Anxiety and Depression; Intro to CBT in Relation to Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety & Depression
  • November 3 Mindfulness: Emotion Regulation Techniques When Facing Anxiety & Depression
  • November 10 Patterning of our Feeling; Assumption Testing; Opposite Action; Steps to Coping
  • November 17 Setting Goals; Challenging our Beliefs; Mindfulness; Cycle of Avoidance and Inactivity and Ways to Bring Ourselves to our Full Potential
  • November 24 Behavioral Activation; Building an Exposure Hierarchy and Ways to Utilize this Hierarchy to Approach our Fears
  • December 1 Self Care & Self Compassion; Creating a Self Care Plan; Distress Tolerance Skills; Reflection or Learning & Guidance for Moving Forward in Managing Depression & Anxiety Throughout Life
