Momentum Drop-In Counselling
As a drop in group, registration occurs on the first visit.
“Feel the feeling but don’t become the emotion. Witness it. Allow it. Release it.”
• January 13th -Session 1: Orientation, importance of emotions, problem solving
• January 20th – Session 2: Untwisting our thinking, thinking traps, managing our environment, & introduction to mindfulness
• January 27th – Session 3: Exploring values, on-track and off-track thinking, working towards setting boundaries in relationships
• February 3rd – Session 4 : Setting Goals, identifying emotions and creating safety plans for success in managing these emotions
• February 10th – Session 5: Distress tolerance skills, mindfulness, problem solving sequence to change, overview and wrap up.
Format: Attend as many meetings as needed
