We Will Be Brave

We Will Be Brave is a powerful Canadian film focused on men’s mental health and positive masculinity. This film explores radical and healing alternatives to shame and punishment for men who have harmed or been harmed. The main characters of the film are men from racialized and mixed communities.

This event is open to everyone, especially men and male self-identified individuals, of all walks of life. The film screening and panel discussion will be engaging, uplifting and will challenge social norms and expectations of masculinity in Canada. We also hope this will be a positive event for initiatives and programs, in Edmonton and St. Albert, that seeks to advance gender justice and engage men and boys in transformative masculinity.
