Therapeutic Horticulture

Course Description:

A Recovery College Course using Plants and Plant-related Activities to Improve Well Being!

Monthly Activities Include:

Introduction to Container Gardening and Tomato Planting
Herbs for Calming and Grounding
Create your Own Tea Garden
Flower Mandalas
Flower Pressing
Compost Building
Medicine Picking/Herbal Medicines (Indigenous/European/Scottish Cultures)
Seed Harvesting, Cattail Basket Workshops,
Bulb Planting (Garlic, Tulip, Daffodils)
Flower Pressing Activity for Display

When: 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm

June 19th, July 3rd &17th, August 14th & 28th, September 4th
